End-to-end encrypted video
The sender encrypts video with AES-256-GCM and wraps the media key separately for each participant using X25519 and HKDF-SHA256. The relay cannot access plaintext video or media keys.
Temporary ciphertext relay
Encrypted video is retained for no more than 72 hours and is removed earlier after all non-senders have successfully collected it.
Local decryption
Recipient devices download ciphertext, decrypt it inside the app sandbox and acknowledge successful collection.
